In 2009 Designer Jennifer Issa noticed that although she went to all the top pet boutiques and felt that the fashion and the design of most dog products just aren’t up to the standard we expect for our beloved four legged family member.  At that point she decided that after years of deigning for women it was time to take her design expertise to the world of dog fashion apparel and accessories.  So Duke and Dutchess was created.  A fashion forward, animal friendly product line.  All hardware is custom made signature D&D design along with high quality Vegan Leather and suede.  Issa was stuck when no one in Los Angeles was willing to make the collection but over the years she didn’t give up.  In 2016 She finally found great local vendors that made everything perfect along with Issa’s instruction.  We use padded backing on all of our easy to wear harnesses.  Custom design for a perfect fit.  Detach the leash and your dog can wear the harness as a fashion item.

 

The Harness

Duke & Dutchess revamped the harness by eliminating difficult to get on buckles and cheap Velcro.   We use padded backing on all of our easy to wear harnesses.  Custom design for a perfect fit.  Detach the leash and your dog can wear the harness as a fashion item.

The breast plate and back-plate are soft and comfortable with padding on the inside.  Adjust the straps once to fit your dog then snap on.  No one has used snaps to close the harness.  This harness has been worn with comfort, strength,  fashion and function.  Utility patent pending

 

Doggy and Me

Duke & Dutchess was inspired by the desire for the designer to have a matching outfit for her and her two cockers.  So Doggy and me was created.  Ladies pants with a ruffle butt skirt and matching outfit for your dog with the same design.  More selection coming soon.  D&D Logo printed on the outfits.

 

Braided Leashes

No one will ever find a more gorgeous leash.  This handmade braided leash takes 3 hours to make and it is worth it.  Black rope braided over gold beads.  Signature DD ring at the handle.  Handle is made from vegan leather.  Limited supply.
